We are offering a 3-month summer research internship for undergraduate students from North American, Canadian, British and Irish universities within the RISE Germany program. The research internship is fully funded by the German Federal Foreign Office and is open to undergraduate student, who will have completed at least 2 years of a degree program by the time of the internship placement.
Your internship will focus on “Lake sediments as witnesses of human impact and climate variations – a case study from Schweriner See (Northeast Germany)”. You will be fully integrated in field- as well as laboratory activities of the Physical Geography department of the University of Greifswald. It would be an asset if you already have a basic knowledge in paleolimnology, limnogeology, sedimentology or geochemistry as this is the focus of our working group.
