Bernd Bobertz holds a degree in geology and works as a geoinformatician in the Remote Sensing and Geoinformation Processing working group. His tasks consist of the acquisition and pre-processing of geodata, in particular the script-based operationalisation of data processing procedures.
Bernd Bobertz has many years of research experience in the application of geostatistical methods for the interpolation and classification of geodata as well as the script-based implementation of the applied methods. Through his involvement in various research projects (DYNAS I + II, SVEA-Pomerania, FloraGREIF), he is particularly familiar with the exchange and processing of geodata in interdisciplinary contexts. In addition, he has worked extensively on the presentation of geodata and historical maps using WebGIS.
