Admission requirements and application
Admission requirements for the course are:
- First university degree qualifying for a profession with a subject-related qualification, e.g. in the subjects of agriculture and forestry, geography, economics, pharmacy, biology or biochemistry, or comparable subjects
- proven knowledge of English at level B2 of the "Common European Framework of Reference" or, alternatively, proof of at least 7 years of English lessons during general education
- for students from abroad: proven knowledge of the German language at least on the level of DSH 2 or equivalent (further information here)
Application and registration
The degree program is currently not subject to admission restrictions.
Information on enrolment (deadlines, documents, procedures, etc.) can be found on the website of the university administration.
Please note: Prior to the application to the admission procedure, the examination board of the Master "Bioeconomy" examines the admission requirements. For this purpose, relevant documents such as transcript of records, certificates, internship certificates (scans) as well as the completed form "Application for examination of the admission requirements (Antrag auf Prüfung der Zugangsvoraussetzungen)" (here) have to be sent by e-mail to the study program coordinator Dr. Ralf Scheibe (ralf.scheibeuni-greifswaldde ) by July 15 of each year. The examination board decides immediately after the deadline and sends out certificates about the recognition of the admission requirements. These certificates must be submitted with the application during the admission process.
